Working with the software you already use
Your job software, payroll provider and bank all feed your accounting, and they need to agree with it. We don't replace the tools you already use — job management systems such as Knowify and Jobber, property management software or estimating tools. We make sure what flows from them into QuickBooks, whether through their built-in sync or monthly entries, is coded correctly and matches the books.

Setup is the Build stage of how we work. It's what makes job costing, profitability reporting and interactive dashboards possible later — the structure comes first, the accounting keeps it true, and the reporting turns it into something you can run the business on.
Why structure comes first
Every report QuickBooks produces is built from the way transactions were coded. If there's no job on a bill, there's no job cost. If there's no class on revenue, there's no service-line report. If each property isn't separated, there's no property-level profit. Fixing reports after the fact means recoding months of transactions. Designing the chart of accounts, jobs, classes, locations and items up front means the reports you need are available from day one.

Can you restructure my existing file instead of starting over?
Often, yes. We decide based on how much history needs to carry forward and how reliable it is.
Do I need a new QuickBooks subscription?
Not usually. Some features, like classes and locations, depend on your QuickBooks plan; we'll tell you if yours limits what you need.
